Future Pirate Player?

The Indians designated LHP Kelvin De La Cruz for assignment to make room for the recently-signed Casey Kotchman.

He’s 23.  He’s 6 foot 5 inches tall.  He strikes out a bunch of hitters and walks a bunch of hitters.  And did I mention he’s from the Indians?

I’m sure once the Burnett Chronicles are done that the Pirates will be on the horn trying to get De La Cruz.  Talk about a perfect match.

    Sounds like a reasonable target.

Go get him, he’s got upside.  Someone who whiffed that many batters is worth taking a chance on.

If he can learn to repeat his delivery he could be a nice pitcher to have….and at 23, i think he still has time to learn consistency
