McCutchen: I Will Take Away Center Field

All-Star center fielder Andrew McCutchen enters today’s game action leading all National League Grapefruit League players in batting average (.414) and slugging (.759) with at least 30 plate appearances. McCutchen has 12 hits in his last 25 at-bats and leads the team with 10 RBI.

McCutchen is also getting some National spotlight as well. The 25-year-old was filmed in a national TV commercial a few weeks ago, which featured other young stars like Evan Longoria, Matt Kemp, Justin Verlander, Justin Upton and others.

Below are both commercials.

During the shooting of the the commercials, McCutchen was taped showing off some bat tricks, as well as talking about his first walk up song when he made his Major League debut, and perhaps a hint as to which song he will use this season. Those exclusive videos are below.

In the third video, McCutchen talks about growing up playing wiffle ball with a broom.
