Notes From Pirate City: Slower Camp Day

Yesterday was a camp day at Pirate City, featuring four intersquad games. Today is another camp day, although there is much less action this time around.

Only one intersquad game will be played today, this one occurring between the AAA and AA teams. Justin Wilson and Kyle McPherson will be the starters, and are the only scheduled pitchers. My guess is that the game will last 3-4 innings, with each pitcher throwing around 50 pitches.

The other fields will feature 27 outs games.

In case you missed it this morning, the Pirates released ten players from minor league camp. They also reassigned four players from major league camp to minor league camp.
